Obituary ~ L. Etiwanda (Marshall) Poush
July 08, 1928 ~ June 20, 2016

L. Etiwanda Poush, daughter of Alfred Earl Marshall and Flora Belle (Clark) Marshall was born July 8, 1928 in Weldon, Iowa and passed from this life Monday, June 20, 2016 at Legacy Lodge Hospice House in Chariton, Iowa at 87 years of age.

Etiwanda received her education in Osceola High School and later took CNA and EMT Classes. She was united in marriage to Leonard Carmi Poush and 4 children, Pam, Karen, Kris and Michael blessed this union.

Etiwanda worked as a Ward Clerk for Dr. Viner at the Leon Clinic for several years and also at Clarke County Hospital for 10 years. She was a member of Ruth Group at Church in Winterset; American Legion Auxiliary in Winterset; and the Woodburn Christian Church.

Eitwanda enjoyed reading and embroidery and reminiscing over her photographs; She had a great love for her dogs, Lady and Laddie and her parakeet bird. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids and especially enjoyed going to movies with granddaughter Bobbi; she also enjoyed being out in the sun and had a green thumb for tomatoes.

Those relatives who preceded Etiwanda in death were her parents; son, Michael Poush; husband, Leonard Carmi Poush and brother Harold Marshall.

Etiwanda leaves to cherish her memory; daughters, Pam (Don) Muselman, Karen (Gary) Parson all of Woodburn, IA; son, Kris Poush of Ottumwa, IA, 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 4 great great-grandchildren, numerous cousins as well as other relatives and many friends.

Memorials may be directed to Legacy Lodge Hospice House in Chariton, Iowa

Celebration of Life Visitation at Kale Funeral Home, Osceola, on June 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with lunch following at the Woodburn Community Center, Woodburn, Iowa.

Interment at a later date will be made at Maple Hill Cemetery, Osceola, Iowa.
