Obituary ~ Opal Beatrice (Davis) Roudybush
March 28, 1915 ~ August 04, 2005

Opal Beatrice Roudybush, 90, of Manly, Iowa formerly of Plymouth, Iowa died Thursday August 4, 2005 at the Manly Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Manly, Iowa. Funeral services will be Saturday 11:00 a.m. August 6, 2005 at the Bride Colonial Chapel, Manly, Iowa, with Pastor Wendy Johannesen officiating. Following the service she will be cremated and inurnment will take place at later time in the Oakwood Cemetery, Plymouth, Iowa. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and then one hour before the service on Saturday. Family suggests memorials to Opal Roudybush memorial fund.

Opal was born on March 28, 1915, the daughter of Homer and Fern (Graham) Davis. She attended school in the Davis City area.

She was united in marriage to Lester Roudybush on June 30, 1931 in Pleasanton, Iowa. After their marriage they lived in Davis City area until moving to Mason City.

Opal enjoyed her flowers and loved to dance. No one ever left Opal's house hungry and she enjoyed cooking and visiting with everyone. But her pride and joy was all of her family.

The void that will be left in the hearts of her family by passing will be filled with wonderful memories of her.

She will be greatly missed by her daughter Donna Prazak and her husband Kenny, Plymouth, Iowa; four grandchildren Regina Haley and her husband Marvin, Diane Keegan, Mike Prazak and his wife Edie and Janet Tretter and husband David; eight great grandchildren Micki Fredricks and her husband Derek, Traci Redeker and her husband Cory, Jennifer Kloster and her husband John, Jake Prazak and his wife Jessica, Cassie Prazak and her fiancé Hector Munoz, Heather Hicok, Seth Ryg and Michael Tretter; one step-great grandson Jeff Haley and his wife Kim; twelve great-great grandchildren Mackenzie, Noah, Kyler, Addison, Jace, Brooke, Preston, Trevor, Makayla, Zach, Cody and Coleton; one brother Maurice Davis and his wife Dela, Council Bluffs, Iowa; many nieces, nephews and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lester in 1996 and one brother Wayne Davis.
