Obituary ~ Beulah M. (Trowbridge) Jimmerson
November 16, 1919 ~ February 02, 2013Beulah Trowbridge Jimmerson, daughter of Alva and Minnie Trowbridge, was born November 16, 1919, near Grand River, Iowa and died February 2, 2013, at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville, KY at the age of 93 years.
Beulah was united in marriage February 15, 1941, to Elbert Alonzo Jimmerson. To this union were born one son and three daughters. Elbert preceded her in death on May 5, 1982.
Beulah was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
She is survived by her four children; Judith and Richard Powers of Mission, Texas; Burnell Jimmerson of Des Moines, Iowa; Barbara and Tom Drake of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; and Debra and Dallas Walters of Sweetser, Indiana; six grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and five great, great grandchildren; one sister; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held in Hopkinsville, Kentucky on Tuesday, Februry 5 and at the Slade - O'Donnell Funeral Home in Leon, Iowa on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 2 p.m. with Tom Drake officiating. Burial was in the Grand River Cemetery, Grand River, Iowa. Memorials may be given to the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Hopkinsville, Kentucky in Beulah's memory.
