Patricia Jennings, 80, of Leon, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the Westview Acres Care Center in Leon. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Afton. Pastor Dwayne Henrichs will officiate. Powers Funeral Home in Afton is in charge of arrangements. There will not be a visitation held. Online condolences can be given at www.powersfh.com.

Patricia Ann Jennings was born July 22, 1934 in Union County, Iowa to Lewis John Cheers and Alta Lenora (Conley) Cheers.

On June 6, 1953 she was united in marriage to Darrell Eugene Jennings in Papillion, Neb. They lived in Mt. Ayr, then Vinton, Sabula, and Green Island, Ia., where Pat was a homemaker. They later moved to Lineville and Decatur.

Survivors include her brother-in-law Donald (wife Linda) Jennings of Creston, two sisters-in-law: Earla (husband Kenneth) Clark of Arispie and Merlene (husband Clifford) Rynearson of Lorimor and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Darrell Jennings in 2012, brother Dean Cheers; brother-in-law Richard Jennings and sister-in-law Mary Lou Crouse.

Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m., March 31, 2015 at Greenlawn Cemetery, Afton, Iowa.
