Donna Lee Bunnell Lippold, 67, of Lamoni, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at the Decatur County Hospital in Leon, Iowa. She was born October 31, 1945, at Oskaloosa, Iowa, the daughter of Lester J. and Ruby Dickerson Bunnell. She attended school at Oskaloosa. Early on she worked at Putt’s Drive-In, and later at various care facilities in Oskaloosa. She also worked for a short time at the Oskaloosa Produce. On June 9, 1962, she was united in marriage to Alan “Arnie” Hol in Oskaloosa, they later divorced. She later married Theodore L. Lippold at Oskaloosa, he died in 2007. In the late 1990’s she moved to Lamoni. While in Lamoni she worked in a daycare and lastly she did home health care. She enjoyed collecting beanie babies, playing BINGO, singing and cooking. She delighted in spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Her family includes her four sons, Tim (& Kim) Hol of Oskaloosa, Terry Hol of Sigourney, Tony (& Janine) Hol of Oskaloosa and Tom (& Angie) Hol of Osceola; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers, Alfert (& Debbie) Bunnell of Oskaloosa, Delbert (& Carrie) Bunnell of Winfield, Iowa, and Gary (& Ellen) Bunnell of Hedrick; her fiancée, Ron Keller of Lamoni; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and a great nephew, Brandon Bunnell.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 3 p.m. in the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa with Pastor Alvern Boetsma officiating. Burial will be in the Henness Cemetery southwest of Oskaloosa. The Bates Funeral Chapel is charge of the arrangements. Visitation will begin Saturday after 12 noon in the Bates Funeral Chapel and the family will be at the funeral chapel from 3-5 Saturday afternoon to greet friends and relatives. Memorials may be made to the Donna Lippold Memorial Fund.
