September, 1978MILDRED LOUISE HINDS, daughter of LEWIS and EMMA WITT, was born Nov. 14, 1935, at Des Moines, Iowa, and died Saturday, Sept. 23, 1978, at the Decatur County Hospital, age 42.
She spent her childhood in Oklahoma and attended school in Leon, Iowa.
On Sept. 27, 1953, she was married to LOREL HINDS. To this union five children were born; JOYCE (deceased); GREG, Lamoni, Iowa; RICKY, SHELLEY and KIBBY of the home.
MILDRED was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by daughter, JOYCE and brother, RICHARD.
Survivors are parents, LEWIS and ERMA WITT, Davis City; husband, LOREL, Leon; four children; daughter-in-law; one grandson; three brothers; sister; four sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; eight nieces; six nephews; other relatives and friends.
[Interment was made in Leon Cemetery.]
