Obituary ~ Warren Edward "Pete" Hanthorn
July 11, 1920 ~ November 27, 2000

Warren Edward "Pete" Hanthorn, son of Thomas Elmer and Elsie Rosemond Barnts Hanthorn, was born July 11, 1920, in Lincoln, Neb. and died Nov. 27, 2000, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. He was 80.

Funeral services for Mr. Hanthorn were Nov. 30 at Slade-O'Donnell Funeral Home in Leon, the Rev. Roger Wolsey officiating. A Masonic service was by Grand River Lodge No. 78 A.F. & A.M. Leon Interment was in the Leon Cemetery with military honors by Cowl-Scott Post No. 80 and the V.F.W. of Leon.
