May, 1985MILO RAYMOND HAMILTON, son of ERNEST W. and MYRTLE RUMLEY HAMILTON, was born on a farm in Woodland Township, of Decatur County, Iowa on Aug. 5, 1908 and died May 4, 1985 at Leon, Iowa, age 76.
He was a graduate of the Leon High School in 1928. MILO was the owner and operator of the Hamilton Builders Supply for several years. He built many homes in Leon and the surrounding areas.
He was united in marriage to EVELYN MARGARET BROWN of Dunlap, Iowa on Nov. 12, 1932. To this union one son was born, ROGER, of Martensdale, Iowa.
MILO was preceded in death by his wife, EVELYN: parents; and brother, DEAN.
He is survived by his son, ROGER and wife MARY WARD HAMILTON; grandson, MARK and wife, JOLENE, Leon; 3 grand-daughters, SHELLY JO DITTMER and husband, LARRY, New Virginia, Iowa; NICKIE LYNNE and JENNIFER KAY, still at home; 3 great grandchildren; LACY JO HMILTON, SHYLER ALLEN HAMILTON, and RYAN LEE DITTMER; other relative and friends.
