Obituary ~ Elmer Burchett
1895 ~ 1966

Elmer Burchett, son of William and Sarah (Deitrich) Burchett, was born July 9, 1895 in Sayre, Oklahoma. The family came to Iowa when he was four years of age, and he spent his entire life farming in Union, Decatur and Clarke counties.

On December 6, 1917, he was married to Viola Crittenden, and to this union two children were born: Helen and Dale. Besides his wife and children he left brothers: William, Ralph, Jesse, and Virgil, three sisters Mrs. Luster (Margaret Foland, Mrs. Blanche Gill, and Mrs. Robert (Irene) Koch.

[Interment was made at Maple Hill Cemetery, Osceola, Iowa.]
