Obituary ~ Mary Ann "Anna" (Perdue) Dingman
March 13, 1891 ~ January 09, 1978

MARY ANN, better known as ANNA, daughter of WILLIAM and ELLA JANE RUMLEY PERDUE, was born March 13, 1891, Leon Iowa, and died at the Decatur County Hospital, Leon, Iowa, Jan. 9, 1978, age 86 years, 9 months and 27 days.

In Sept. 1913, she was married to VERNIE ALFRED DINGMAN, better known as JACK. Six children were born to this union. Most of their life was spent in Decatur County.

ANNA became a member of the Assembly of God Church at Decatur before moving to Leon and becoming a member there.

Preceding her in death were parents; her husband JACK, 1949; son CHESTER; six grandchildren; two brothers, EDGAR and LEONARD PERDUE; and sister GRACE HOWELL.

Survivors are three sons; FRANCIS, Charles City, Iowa; LEO, Cheyenne, Wyo.; and CHARLES MILO, Austin, Texas; two daughters: HELEN WHITSON, Russell, Iowa; and MARGARET DAY, Polo, Mo.; 19 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; seven great, grandchildren; brother GEORGE PERDUE, Hawaii; other relatives and friends.

[Interment was made at Leon Cemetery, Leon, Iowa.]
