Obituary ~ Faye Lena (Linden) Clampitt
March 23, 1896 ~ January 24, 1979

FAYE LENA, daughter of MORRIS WILLIAM and HARRIET ANN DURHAM LINDEN, was born in Decatur County, Iowa, March 23, 1896, and died at the Oak Glen Nursing Home in Coal Valley, Ill. Jan. 24, 1979, age 82 years.

FAYE taught rural school and gave music lessons in Pleasanton, Iowa.

She was married to JAMES EZRA CLAMPITT in the 1920’s. They made their home in Plesanton where here husband operated a garage. They also farmed near Davis City, Iowa.

Following her husband’s death in 1957, she moved to Moline, Ill., also preceded in death by parents; 3 brothers, LAWRENCE, MORRIS and CHARLIE LIDEN; and 3 sisters, RILLA, LESTA and VERNA.

Survivors include brother, DOSS A. LIDEN, Blue Grass, Iowa; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
