Obituary ~ Margie Angeline (Williams) Cotterill
March 16, 1902 ~ November 02, 1983

MARGIE ANGELINE COTTERILL, daughter of THOMAS and ELIZABETH (CLARK) WILLIAMS, was born March 16, 1902, near Decatur, Iowa and died at her home in Leon on Nov. 2, 1983, age 81 years, 7 months, and 17 days.

When a young girl, she obeyed the gospel and was baptized for the remission of her sins. She attended church regularly at the Church of Christ in Leon, Iowa.

She taught school near Pleasanton, Iowa for a few years in early adulthood.

On Aug. 27, 1930, she and GEORGE H. COTTERILL were united in marriage at Corydon, Iowa. To this union two children were born, a daughter and a son.

She spent her lifetime in service for others.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and older brother who died infancy and her husband for forty-eight years.

Surviving are daughter, GLADA MANCHESTER and husband WILLIAM J. MANCHESTER; son, ALBERT COTTERILL and wife, NANCY; five grandchildren: GLEN MANCHESTER and wife, LANA; SHARON MANCHESTER; MARGIE SUE COTTERILL; GAYLEN MANCHESTER and wife ANNA; and CURTIS COTTERILL; two great grandchildren; DAYNE MANCHESTER and JEREMY MANCHESTER; double-cousins, MINNIE LEEPER and BILL WILLIAMS; other cousins; relatives; neighbors and friends.
