Obituary.

Miss NELLIE BRENAMAN was born at the home of her parents near Grand River June 18, 1875. Her sad death was caused by her clothes catching fire and burning her so badly that she died. Her death occurred at 1:30 p. m. September 22 [1896]. She was received into the Methodist Episcopal church to October 1889, and remained a faithful member until her death. The funeral obsequies were conducted at the home by her pastor, G. E. TALLEY, Sunday September 13 at 2 p. m. the text being “Her sun is gone down while it was yet day.” Jer. 15:9. A very large concourse of sympathizing friends followed her to her last resting place in the Young Cemetery.

She was a lady held in high esteem by all the community; no one had any-thing to say against her; she was loved by all.

The heart broken parents have the sincere sympathy of the entire community in this their sad bereavement. It is sad to lose one so loved from our community, but it is doubly sad to have her taken from us as she was.
