Obituary ~ Myrtle Mae (Bryant) Akers
August 25, 1899 ~ November 25, 2000

Myrtle Mae Akers, daughter of Frank and Blanche McDowell Bryant, was born August 25, 1899, near Grand River and died Nov. 25, 2000, at the Mount Ayr Health Care Center. She was 101.

Funeral services were Nov. 29 at Slade-O'Donnell Funeral Home in Leon, the Rev. Terry D. Roberts officiating. Interment was in the Grand River Cemetery.
