Michael Brown, 45, of Leon died unexpectedly Nov. 25, 2012.

Funeral services were 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at Slade-O'Donnell Funeral Home in Leon. The Rev. Terry Roberts officiated. Burial was in Leon Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established by the family.

Michael Chris Brown, son of Joyce Elaine Owens and Gary Albert Brown, was born Jan. 17, 1967, at Decatur County Hospital.

Mike grew up and went to school in the Decatur and Clarke County areas.

Mike was a longtime employee of Interpower in Lamoni.

Mike is survived by his brothers, Garen and Steve Brown; sister Jacki Brown-Legg and nephews Drew and Ian Legg, all of Leon.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents.
