LUCY JANE, oldest child of DELL and LUCY LEONARD was born in High Point township, September 7, 1889, and passed away at her home in Garden Grove, November 1, 1948 at the age of 59 years, 1 month and 24 days, JENNIE as she was familiarly known grew to womanhood in the vicinity of Weldon and Garden Grove.

On July 3, 1909 she was united in marriage to PEARL T. BROWN. Two sons were born to this union, CARROLL E., of Leon and MERRILL G., of Garden Grove.

For years she has been a faithful member and regular attendant of the Assembly of God Church located near his home. She was preceded in death by two brothers, FAY G., and a baby brother.

Surviving and mourning her passing are her husband, two sons and two grandchildren, also her aged parents, three brothers, two sisters and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at Assembly of God church in Garden Grove with the Slade Funeral Home in charge. Burial was in Garden Grove cemetery.
