GEORGE GIFT, a well known resident of this
city who had lived in this
county for the past forty-five years, died at
the residence of MRS. JOHN
HEATEN, where he was boarding, in the west
part of town, last Sunday
afternoon at 4:l5 o'clock. MR. GIFT's health
began to fail about three
years ago and since then he had gradually
declined. His death was the
result of heart disease. MR. GIFT's parents
died some years ago. He
was married to MRS. PAUL CASTER about the
year l885.
