MARY WRIGHT died in Van Wert, Iowa, June 20,
l895. Supposed to be about
55 years old. She had been in poor health
for many years, but bore it
patiently until the angels came and wafted
her spirit home. MARY was
converted while quite young and united with
the United Brethren Church
and lived a consistent life. The writer
visited her quite often and
spoke to her concerning her hope; her answer
was: "all is well." MARY
was a good woman.

The funeral was conducted by Father Blair in
the M.E. Church, June 2l at
2 p.m. after which her remains were conveyed
to Shires Cemetery and
quietly laid beside her father and mother,
there to await the sound of
the trumpet that awakes the sleeping dead.
