Born in Jefferson County, Indiana, Aug. l,
l828. MARGARET, daughter of
ROBERT and KITENSAH KINNEAR, died at her home
in Leon, Iowa, Dec. 23,
l894. In l856 she came to Leon to visit her
sister, MRS. ELIZABETH
BURNS. After a stay of one year she was
married to WILLIAM P. STONE who
died June, l863. To them were born three
children, MARY H. who died in
infancy, KITENSAH the say and comfort of her
mother's life, lived to the
age of nineteen and was called home. ROBERT
CLARK, who lives at West
Superior, Wis., was unable to be with his
mother on account of sickness
in his family.

Deceased lived a widow twenty-one years, then
married FRANCES SMITH in
l883. She helped organize the First
Presbyterian Church in Leon and
remained a member of that body until her
first marriage, when she and
her husband united with the M.E. Church where
she has lived a consistent
and useful member. She was also a member of
the Relief Corps in which
she was much interested and served as
chaplain for two years. AUNT
MAGGIE SMITH will be sadly missed by
everyone. She was everybody's AUNT
'MAG'. No one was ever more ready to do a
kind act than she, always
willing to lend a helping hand in sickness
and distress.

UNCLE FRANKIE SMITH, her present husband, is
quite old and feeble. We
all have great sympathy for him in this his
hour of affliction.
