PREGON, Michael (Mick), 77, of Leon, Iowa, died on Saturday, may 19, 2012 at the Decatur County Hospital in Leon. At his request he was cremated and no services are scheduled. Arrangements are through Slade-O'Donnell Funeral Home of Leon, Iowa.

MICHAEL PREGON ... Michael (Mick) Pregon passed away Saturday, May 19th, 2012 at Decatur County Hospital in Leon, Iowa. At his request, he was cremated and no services are scheduled.

Michael was born November 27, 1934, the son of Michael Pregon and Lena [Leggett] Pregon. After graduating high school, he served in the United States Army. Michael was united in marriage on June 21, 1958 to Marjorie Bartlema. He retired from Maytag in 1991.

Those left to honor Michael's memory are his wife, Marjorie; children: Michel Large of Newton, Michael Pregon of Leon, Melisa (Tedd) See of Baxter, and Maria (Eric) Van Roekel of Apple Valley CA; four grandchildren: Amanda See of Cedar Rapids, IA, Roxanne (John) Kimbell of Kirkland, WA, Ryan Large of Newton, IA, and Chad Van Roekel of Apple Valley, CA; one great grandchild, Kaylin Kimbell; and siblings: Marlene Crosby of Knoxville, IA, Helen Seddon (Gary) of Melcher, IA, Tom Pregon (Connie) of Knoxville, George Pregon of Pershing, IA, Bob Pregon (Nancy) of Knoxville, David Pregon (Janet) of Knoxville, and sister-in-law Mary Pregon of Knoxville.
