NEGLEY, Evelyn M., 87, of Webster City, Iowa, died on Friday, December 23, 2011 at Cresview Senior Living in Webster City. Grave side memorial services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Decatur Township Cemetery in Decatur City, Iowa. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center in Webster City.

EVELYN M. NEGLEY ... Evelyn M. Negley, 87, of Webster City, died Friday, December 23, 2011 at Crestview Senior Living in Webster City, Iowa. Graveside memorial services were held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Decatur Township Cemetery in Decatur City, Iowa. arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center in Webster City.

Evelyn Marie Richards daughter of Oren and Georgeann Harris Richards was born on May 30, 1924 in Millerton, Iowa. She received her education from the Decatur County Schools. On February 27, 1942 she married Howard Ray Helton in Princeton, Missouri. Evelyn worked as a waitress and farm wife. The couple later divorced. She then married Raymond Negley. Raymond died on July 21, 1987. Evelyn had been residing at Crestview Senior Living in Webster City for the past two years.

She is survived by her son, Melvin (Trudy) Helton of Webster City; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Raymond, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Summers; two sons in infancy; her parents; four brothers, Edwin, Eldrige, Ellsworth, and Elmer Richards; two sisters, Elaine Lillabudge, and Eleanor McWilliam.
