DADY, Faye, 54, of Davis City, Iowa, died on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Following cremation, memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Slade-O'Donnell Funeral Home in Leon, Iowa with Rev. Lisa Locoh officiating.

FAYE DADY ... Faye Dady, age 54 of Davis City, Iowa, daughter of James W. Boyd and Elsie May [Morris] Boyd, was born May 31, 1957 in Holland, Missouri and died December 21, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Faye grew up in Arkansas and attended school there. She moved to Iowa in 1980 and married Walter Erven Dady in 1981. Faye worked as a CNA at Fountain West Care Center in West Des Moines for several years and also as a teachers' aide.

Faye and Walt have made their home in Davis City the past nine years. Faye was a homemaker. sharing over 30 years of marriage, Faye was described by her husband as a "very nice person." Faye enjoyed fishing and camping with Walt, motorcycle riding, and being outdoors.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elsie, and her sister, Marie.

Faye is survived by her husband Wald Dady of Davis City; daughter Misty Scroggins of Blytheville, Arkansas; son Michael Scroggins of Ft. Dodge, Iowa; step-son Michael Bumgardner of Boone, Iowa; several grandchildren; father James Boyd; brothers: Herbert, James C., and Ferrell; sisters: Dorothy, Bertha, and Bobbie; sisters-in-law: Charlene Beam and husband Rick, Joann Myers and husband James, and Sally Dady; and other relatives and friends.
