KEETON, Oda Irene "Polly", 99, of Leon, Iowa, died December 2, 2005 at Westview Acres Care Center in Leon. Graveside services were held December 6 at the South Lineville Cemetery. Arrangements were through Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Chapel in Lineville, Iowa.

POLLY KEETON ... Oda Irene "Polly" Keeton, daughter of John Wesley and Arminta [Jennings] Nickell, was born in Decatur County, Iowa, near Lineville, Iowa, on April 5, 1906, and passed away on December 2, 2005 at Westview Acres Care Center in Leon, Iowa, at the age of 99 years.

Polly lived most of her life in the Lineville, Iowa area. She lived in Bettendorf, Iowa from 1942-1944, working for International Harvester. She was married to Archie Lewis Keeton on January 15, 1924. He preceded her in death on June 5, 1968. Also preceding her in death were her parents; eight broths: Oral, Alfred, Roy, Richard, William, Ernest, Carl, and Wesley Nickell; two sisters, Floy Laughlin and Zella Cribb.

She is survived by her daughter, Frances Neotha Brunner and husband Robert of Lineville; a sister-in-law, Anna Nickell of Princeton, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
