“Willard Wayne Keeler, son of Bert West Keeler and Della Mae (Hall) Keeler was born August 30, 1913 in Clarke County, Iowa and passed from this life Friday, December 17, 2010 at Southern Hills Specialty Care in Osceola, Iowa at 97 years of age.
Wayne received his education in the Weldon School and Osceola Junior College. He was united in Marriage to Dorothy Louise Wallace on May 6, 1938 at Weldon, Iowa and four children blessed this union.

Wayne grew up and remained on the family farm near Weldon where he and Dorothy raised their family. The farm was honored as a Century Farm by the Iowa Farm Bureau this past year at the Iowa State Fair. He was a proud farmer.

Wayne was a member of Masonic Lodge, Farm Bureau, having served on the board for many years; Clarke County School board for eight years; Clarke County Fair board and township clerk for many years.

Wayne loved to read, make stained glass, travel and garden. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Those relatives who preceded Wayne in death were his parents; brother, Maurice Keeler; sister, Lois Murrow; son, Bert Austin Keeler; and son-in-law, Lee Houston.

He leaves to cherish his memory wife, Dorothy; daughter; daughter, Joyce Branson and husband Evan of Weldon; daughter, Jean Houston of Anchorage, Alaska; son, Warren Keeler and wife Sue of Osceola; grandchildren, Debra (Lee) March, Evan (Shellee) Branson, Julie (Clint) Johnson, Paul (Laura) Houston, David (Angie) Houston, Wesley (Alberta) Keeler, Bert (Jen) Keeler; Thirteen great grandchildren as well as other family and many friends.” Kale Funeral Home, 301 S.
