ULNA MAY CRAIG WILLIS, daughter of Wintifred and Louisa Craig, was born February 26, 1890, in Mercer County, Missouri, and departed this life Jan. 13, 1963, at the Axtell Hospital, Princeton, Mo., after ten days of illness, at the age of 72 years, 10 months, 18 days.

On August 14, 1912, she was united in marriage to Lawrance Alvin Willis and to this union nine children were born, Mrs. Leveda Barnes, Bonner Springs, Kansas, Miss Lavera Willis of the home, Mrs. Madeline Bowman, Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Velma Cain, Cainsville, Hansel, Alexandria, Virginia, Hershel, Bethany, Mo., and Berthel Willis of the home. One daughter, Leila, one son Wilford and husband preceded her in death, also one granddaughter, Patty Jo Barnes.

She made her confession of Jesus Christ as her Savior, becoming a member of the Christian Church at an early age.

Her married life was spent on farms in Harrison and Mercer Counties, except for one year spent in Iowa. She was much devoted to her home and family.

She was of a family of three children. Her father and mother preceded her in death.

She leaves to mourn, besides her children, five grandchildren, Mrs. Janet Pickett, Linwood, Kansas, Larry Barnes, Bonner Springs, Kenneth Bowman, Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Karen O'Neil and Wayne Willis of Cainsville, No.; 5 great grandchildren, Danny, Dale, and Roberta Pickett, Patricia and Ronnie O'Neil; two sisters, Mrs. Clyde Stephens, Ridgeway, Mo., Mrs. Cager Collins, Weldon, Iowa.; two daughters in law, Mrs. Etta Willis, Bethany, Mo., Mrs. Carrie Willis, Alexandria, Va.; three sons in law; two brothers in law, Virgil and Vince Willis, Maryville, Mo., Neice and nephews, and a host of other relatives, friends, and neighbors.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

"How blessed the dead, who die in the Lord

For their works follow them," thus saith His word.

Though we cry out in anguish and dark is the way.

We know that He giveth strength for the day

This comforts the heart, though tears dim the eyes,

Of him, who on God's precious promise relies.

So may we look upward, our hop fixed on God

And follow the pathway, our loved one has trod.

Services were held Jan., 15, 1963, at 2:00 p.m. at the Stoklasa Funeral Home in Cainsville, with Rev. Cleo Colville officiating. Burial was at the Fairview Cemetery, three miles north of Cainsville, with Mr. Ed Stoklasa in charge.

CARD OF THANKS We sincerely thank our many friends, neighbors, and relatives for the beautiful flowers, and all those who helped with the funeral service, those who sent cards, food, and helped in many ways of kindness during the loss of our mother and grandmother. God bless each one of you.
