Obituary -

(The Leon Journal-Reporter Leon, Iowa April 27, 2011)

GEORGIA DALE [WEBB] CAMPBELL ... Georgia Dale [Webb] Campbell was born on a farm near Hatfield, MO at the home of her parents, Charles Dee and Jessie May [Marshall] Webb on December 29, 1915 and departed this life on April 21, 2011 at the Mount Ayr Health Care Center.

Georgia was united in marriage on February 23, 1937 to Nicholas Harvey Campbell in Bethany, MO. To this union two boys were born; Larry Joe and Alan Lynn. Nick passed away January 29, 2007, just one month shy of 70 years of marriage.

Georgia was a hardworking farm wife and also worked at the Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr for a few years. Georgia was a 50 year member of Order of Eastern Star of which there were few offices she failed to hold. And if anyone knew Georgia, she was very proficient in all of her Eastern Star work. She was also a member of the Kellerton United Methodist Church and member of the United Methodist Women Society of which she'd held many offices and was very active as long as her health would let her.

Left to mourn her passing include her son Larry Joe & friend Linda Wilt of Mount Ayr; grandchildren Kurtis (Clara) Campbell of Osceola, Kevin Campbell of Mount Ayr and Darren (Jannette) Campbell of Mount Ayr; great grandchildren Casey Campbell, Cacia Campbell and Erin Campbell; step great grandchildren Makenzie Virden and Kimberly Love (Robbie) Reaves; brothers Richard Webb of Villisca, Gary (Iris) Webb of Jefferson, TX and Dennis (Barb) Webb of Jefferson, TX; sister-in-law Helen Campbell of Mount Ayr; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorials are to the Mount Ayr Health Care Center and HCI Care Services of Iowa. Online condolences may be left at www.watsonarmstrongfh.com.
