RISSEL, Clarence Eugene, 64, of Leon, Iowa, died March 24, 2006 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services were held at the Slade-O'Donnell Funeral Home in Leon March 29 with Rev. Jud Stover officiating. Burial was in the Davis City Cemetery, Davis City, Iowa.

CLARENCE EUGENE RISSEL ... Clarence Eugene Rissel, age 64 of Leon, Iowa, Passed away March 24, 2006 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. He was born July 20, 1941 in Blairstown, Missouri to Daniel Wolf and Francis Lola [Page] Rissel.

He was united in marriage to Donnis Kay Felts on November 11, 1979 in Leon, Iowa. He became step-dad to seven children.

When the family lived in Independence, Missouri, Clarence worked at Woodlawn Cemetery. Later they lived in Lamoni, Iowa where he worked at the Farmers Co-op. When his health declined, they moved to Leon.

Clarence enjoyed fishing and being with the grandkids.

Preceding him in death were his parents and brother Kenneth Rissel.

He is survived by his wife Donnis of Leon; stepchildren: Albert Flowers of Leon; Tony Flowers and wife Elizabeth of Portugal; Johnny Flowers of Hamilton, Iowa; Ronnie Rissel and wife Paula of Ankeny, Iowa; Troy Rissel and Calvin Rissel, both of Des Moines, Iowa; and Donna bond and Husband Richard of Leon; 14 grandchildren; two sisters: Rose Jenkin of Mulbow, Oklahoma; and Olena Hackett of Sedalia, Missouri; brother Martin Rissel and wife Florence of Emmett, Idaho; and other relatives and friends.
