DEATH NOTICE:

FULLER, Julia (Elane), 87, of Leon, Iowa, died at Westview Acres in Leon on May 20, 2010. Private family Funeral Services were held through Slade-O'Donnell Funeral Home in Leon with Rev. Terry D. Roberts officiating. Burial was in Leon Cemetery, Leon, Iowa.

ELANE FULLER ... Julia Elane fuller, age 87, of Leon, Iowa daughter of Roy and Elma Ophelia Beavers, was born June 3, 1922 at Woodland, Iowa and died May 20, 2010 at Westview Acres in Leon.

Elane grew up in Decatur County and attended school at Woodland and Leon. She married Forrest Harold "Frosty" Fuller. Two sons were born to this union, Eddie and Ted.

The family made their home in Leon. Frosty owned and operated Fuller Plumbing and Heating, and Elane was a homemaker.

Elane enjoyed her baking, gardening, flowers and walks throughout Leon. She enjoyed her life in Leon and being with her grandchildren and their families when they came to visit each year.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers: Lester, Clair, Newell, and Maxwell Beavers; sisters: infant Elma Marcella Beavers, Laura Stewart, Lois Beavers, and Frances Rex; infant son Eddie Fuller; husband Frosty Fuller; and son Ted Fuller in 2003.

She made her home at Parkview Apartments in Leon, until moving to Terrace Park assisted living in May 2009 and then Westview Acres in December 2009.

Elane is survived by her grandson Christian Ted Fuller and wife Sherry of Prescott Valley, Arizona; granddaughter Steffani Lynn Brooks and husband Scott of Indianapolis, Indiana; 4 great grandchildren: Samantha Willett, Jesse Willett, Jennifer Perez, and Devin Tice; 1 great, great grandchild, Alex Willett; nieces and nephews; friends at Parkview Apartments and Terrace Park assisted living; and other relatives and friends.
