PAUL BROWER ... Paul R. Brower, 80, of Cainsville, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 1980, at Lamoni Manor, Lamoni, Iowa. Services were set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, at the Cainsville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Bob Meinecke officiating assisted by the Rev. Ted Neher. Burial was in Zoar Cemetery. Sotklasa Funeral Home, Cainsville, was in charge of the funeral arrangements.

Mr. Brower was born May 17, 1899, in Harrison County, to Thomas and Katherine Merrifield and was a lifetime resident of the Cainsville area. He was a retired farmer and a member of the United Methodist Church of Cainsville.

Surviving are a daughter, Clela Oder, Cainsville; two sisters, Mrs. Elmo Maroney, Bethany, and Mrs. Carl Bovey, San Francisco, Calif.; three grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Anderson Brower.
