(ST. JOSEPH GAZETTE St. Joeph, Missouri After January 25, 1965)

CREED HELTON, 79, died Monday at a hospital in Trenton. He had been a prominent farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Tacy Helton of the home in Brimson: four sons, Arthur Helton, Huntington Park, Calif., E. Martin Helton, Kingman, Ariz., Elza Lee Helton, Jacksonville, Fla., and J. Garland Helton, Trenton: one daughter, Mrs. Gerald Long, Trenton: one sister, Mrs. Edith Reid, Leon, Ia: 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The body is at the Davis Black More Mortuary in Trenton.
