DEATH NOTICE:

McLANE, Wilma May, 90, formerly of Decatur County, Iowa, died March 18, 2010 in Hutchinson, Kansas. Graveside services and burial were held March 22 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Lineville, Iowa, with Rev. Max Carmichael officiating. Arrangements were made by Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Chapel of Lineville, Iowa.

WILMA MAY McLANE ... Wilma May McLane, daughter of Henry Milton and Samantha Jane [Bremer] Wood, was born on September 11, 1919, in the Woodland Community of Decatur County, Iowa, and passed away on March 18, 2010, in Hutchinson, Kansas, at the age of 90 years.

Wilma was united in marriage to Marvin Howard McLane on September 28, 1940, in Princeton, Missouri. Marvin preceded her in death on December 3, 1997. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Margery Penland; a brother, Audrey Wood; and by a son-in-law, Don Bottelman. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Thompson (and son-in-law, Tony) of Hutchinson, Kansas; a grandson, Dennis Bottelman (and his wife, Nori); two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Evan Bottelman, all of Hutchinson; one sister, Ruth Petty of Leon, Iowa; and by several nieces and nephews.

Wilma and Marvin lived on their farm northeast of Mercer, Missouri, most of their married life, and raised registered Angus cattle. They moved to South Lineville, Missouri, in 1984, and Wilma moved to Hutchinson, Kansas, in 2001 to be close to her family.
