On Thursday, April 23, occurred the funeral services of CURTIS EVERETT
SPICER, the infant son of Mrs. BERTHA SPICER. He was born November 3, 1913,
and departed this life April 21, 1914. His little life was of short
duration, being six months and twenty days old when he was called to go to
the spirit world. He was loved by all who knew him. CURTIS leaves his dear
mother and three brothers and his grandparents on both sides and a host of
friends and relatives to mourn their loss, his father having preceded him
three months ago in the spirit world.

The funeral was held at the home at 2 o'clock, the text was found in the
18th chapter of Matthew and the 2nd and 3rd verses, and chapter 1 of 1
Corinthians and 20th verse, conducted by Riley Buchanan.
