ROSCOE HAMILTON SERVICES AT LEON ... Roscoe John Hamilton, 60, of Pleasanton, Ia., died Jan. 8 at a Des Moines, Ia. hospital. Funeral services were held at the Stewart Funeral Home in Leon, Ia., Jan. 10 with the Rev. Norris Ramsey officiating. Burial was in the Hamilton Cemetery.

Mr. Hamilton was born Oct. 9, 1907 in Beaver County, Okla. He was married to Leta Mark Aug. 5, 1925. He was a lifelong resident of Mercer County and Decatur County, Ia., where he was a farmer and a carpenter. He was a member of the Pleasanton M.E. Church.

He leaves his wife, Leta, of the home; two sons, Donald and Darrell Hamilton of Pleasanton; three daughters, Mrs. Cecile Judd of Lineville, Ia., Annis Flora and Mrs. Helen Hagan of Cainsville; two brothers, Clem Hamilton of Pleasanton and Roy Hamilton of Davis City, Ia.; a sister, Mrs. Ola Hagan of Pleasanton; 20 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
