DEATH NOTICE:

DAY, Irma Mae [Alldredge], 95, died October 23, 2005 at the Muscatine Care Center in Muscatine, Iowa. funeral services were held October 29, 2005 at the Leon Bible Church with Pastor Pat weaver officiating. Burial was in the Garden Grove Cemetery in Garden Grove, Iowa. Arrangements were through Slade-O'Donnell Funeral Home of Leon.

Memorials may be given to Leon Bible Church.

IRMA MAE [ALLDREDGE] DAY ... Precious, beloved Mother, treasured sister, loving aunt, cherished and sweet friend, she is too quickly gone fro mus, but now safely in god's arms, free of all sufferings for all eternity. We will miss her sweet smile, her love and friendship so freely given to all she has known.

Irma Mae Day was a resident of Garden Grove, Iowa, until recent months when she went to live with her daughter, Marilyn Day Jarrard in Muscatine, Iowa. She went home to her lord at 11:30 a.m. on October 23, 2005at the Muscatine Care Center in Muscatine, Iowa. she was 95 years old, born June 2, 1910 in Elgin, Nebraska to William and Nellie Clark Alldredge. She graduated from Bronson High School, Bronson, Iowa, in 1929 and on October 23, 1929, married Ivan Leroy Day, who preceded her in death on July 2, 1993. Their marriage was blessed with five children.

Irma accepted Christ as her Savior when she was seven years old and was active in her church and communities where she lived. In later years she was an active member of Leon Bible Church, Leon, Iowa, where she served in various capacities in children's and women's ministries.

She leaves to mourn her passing two sons, Richard Ivan Day and wife Phyllis of Syracuse, IN; Loren Evan Day and wife Barbara of Bates City, MO; two daughters, Marilyn Leola Day Jarrard and husband Kenneth of Muscatine IA; Maureen Louise Day McDole and husband Terry of Fountain Inn, SC; a daughter-in-law, Helen Louise Crow Day of garden Grove; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; as well as many friends and relatives, all of whom will miss her greatly.

Irma is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, a son William Arthur Day and her granddaughter, Beverly Jean Day.
