HARVEY OSBORN, son of JOHN W. OSBORN, of Leon, who has resided near Gillette, Wyoming for several years, died there the first of the week. His body arrived at Osceola last evening and Frank S. Stewart's hearse went there and brought it to this city. The funeral will be held from the OSBORN home in this city, this afternoon at 2 o'clock.

OBITUARY

HARVEY W. OSBORN was born in Decatur County, Iowa, October 6, l887, died at Gillette, Wyoming, May 23, l924, age 36 years, 7 months and 20 days.

He was the youngest child of JOHN W., and JENNIE OSBORN. HARVEY grew to manhood on their farm in Morgan Township, Decatur County, Iowa, about seven years ago he moved to Gillette, Wyoming, where he took up a homestead and was identified with the pioneer life of the people of that section. He was a popular young man and had a wide circle of acquaintances in both Decatur and Ringgold Counties. His conduct through life was such as to win the esteem of all his neighbors and acquaintances.

He leaves to mourn his untimely passing, his father and step-mother, of Leon, Iowa; two brothers, CLAUDE, of Gillette, Wyoming, and FAY E., of Pleasanton, Iowa; one sister, MRS. MAUDE BLAKESLEY, of Dayton, Wyoming; his mother and one sister having preceded him in death; his mother having died May 24, l898, and his sister, MRS. BLANCHE EVANS, April 29, l909.

Funeral services were conducted by Wm. S. Irvine from the Church of Christ Chapel in Leon, Iowa, on the afternoon of May 29. Interment in the Eden Cemetery, by the side of his mother and sister.
