LEOTA, the youngest daughter of J.K. and KATHERINE KIZZIRE, was born in Decatur County, September 22, l894, and departed this life at her home near Pleasanton, after a few months of patient suffering, on March 20, l924, aged 29 years, 5 months and 28 days. On May l4, l9l4, she was united in marriage to RAY DALE, where they have since resided at her late home. To them were born four children, HILDA, CLAIR, COY and REVA.

Six years ago, she united with the New Salem Baptist Church and has ever remained a true follower to her Savior. LEOTA possessed a cheerful, sunny disposition, always looking on the bright side of life, always having an encouraging word for those who were down-hearted and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Her greatest ambition was to train her children to all that was good and honorable. She always had the impression that she would not be spared to see her children grown to maturity but her greatest desire and trust was that she might be. But we have our plans and desires of life, but the great Father who cares for us and protects us knows best. As the beautiful words of one of her favorite songs, "Sometime We'll Understand."

She leaves to mourn their loss, her husband, four little children, father, mother, two brothers, ELIC KIZZIRE, of Grey Bull, Wyoming, and WILBERT KIZZIRE, of Blanchard, Iowa; two sisters, MRS. ESTELLA DRAPER and MRS. HATTIE HAGGARTY, of Blanchard, Iowa, and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

The funeral was held at the New Salem Baptist Church, March 23, l924, which was largely attended by sorrowing relatives and friends. Interment in Cemetery.
