LAURA L. CLINE, wife of JOHN B. CLINE, was born at Zanesville, Ohio, September l3, l850, and died December 24th at ll:40 o'clock p.m. at the home of her son, C.G. CLINE, in Leon, Iowa.

After the death of her parents in l86l, she came to make her home with an aunt at Lisbon, Iowa. At the age of fourteen, they moved to Jefferson, Iowa, where she was married to JOHN B. CLINE in l869. To this union were born four children, HARRY V. CLINE, LOUIS P. CLINE, MRS. MARY E. MYERS and CHARLES G. CLINE. Her husband and son, LOUIS, and daughter, MARY, preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her loss, two sons, HARRY V. CLINE, of Cherokee, Iowa, and CHARLES G. CLINE, of Leon, and a host of friends.

The remains were taken to Jefferson on December 26th, where they were laid at rest beside the body of her husband. MRS. CLINE was a lady of fine qualities and to know her was to love and respect her. Truly she will be missed by all. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of our people.
