ARTHUR DELOS DALE, son of MR. and MRS. EVERETT DALE, was born in Decatur County, Iowa, January 3l, l9l2, and departed this life at his home two miles northeast of Davis City, Iowa, September 28, l923, having reached the age of ll years, 7 months and 27 days.

He was ambitious and seemed to have great confidence in making something in life. His sunny disposition enabled him to enjoy life under all circumstances.

His death was rather sudden, being preceded by only a few days' illness, during which he bore his suffering with great patience and fortitude. He leaves to mourn his going, father, mother, two brothers, three sisters, grandparents and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held from the Chapel of New Salem Baptist Church, the afternoon of September 29th.
Clarence Henderson, of Davis City, had charge of the burial. Wm. S. Irvine, of Leon, officiating at the funeral services.
