ADELINE BOWMAN, daughter of CHAS. and SUSANNAH BOWMAN, was born in Columbiana County, Ohio. With her parents when a young woman of 2l she moved to Iowa. She died at Leon, June 7th, aged at the time of her death, 86 years, l0 months and l8 days. To her death was a welcome release, coming as it did after years of invalidism. She had united in early life with the Baptist Church, aftrerward casting her lot with the Methodist and remained in this fellowship so long as her physical strength permitted.

Funeral services were conducted at the home Saturday afternoon by J.E. Habliston, Pastor of the Methodist Church and burial was made at the Leon Cemetery.
