In the State of Indiana on the 22nd day of January, l847, the angel of domestic felicity brought to the home of MR. and MRS. TEMPLE GIBSON a baby girl; she was christened ELIZABETH in honor of her mother.

In l853, she went with her parents to the State of Iowa, and located at Van Wert, in Decatur County, where she was living when married to MR. ADNA SHEELEY, October 4, l863, which union was blessed by the birth of two sons.

With her husband and two sons, she came to Oklahoma in l893 and located at High Prairie, l2 miles west of Geary, where they lived a united family until the death of her husband, March ll, l904.

February l2, l9l2, she was married the second time, to MR. RUFUS BUXTON, who is living and mourns the departure of his faithful companion. Before she was of age, our sister was converted and joined the M.E. Church. In her Christian experience many severe battles were fought and victories won, and she departed this life in the assurance of a triumphant faith. (*Can't read) the boarder of a better world; two sons, THOS. F., of Geary, Okla.; and CHAS. W., whose home is in LaRue, Tex.; one sister, MRS. MARTHA GIBSON, of Van Wert, Iowa; other relatives and many friends mourn her departure.

Saturday, April 29, at two o'clock in the afternoon, services were held at the family residence conducted by the writer, assisted by Rev. John T. Carson and Rev. A.R. Martin, and the body committed to its last earthly resting place in Richland Cemetery where her former neighbors had gathered.
