Before I post this obituary, I want to say that there is a large torn area that has been taped together; some of the information is missing. I'm sorry for this, however, I will post what I can read. Nancee

Thursday, March l, l923

MRS. S.E. WALKER died at her home in Huggins Township last Sunday, Feb. 25th. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Old Brick Church, conducted by Elder R.C. Word, and burial was in the adjoining cemetery. MRS. WALKER's maiden name was (*can't read; possibly Hoffman?) at the time of her death being 65 years, 3 months and 24 days.

She was married Jan. 2, l876, to S.E. WALKER, and six children were born to them, all of whom are living. They are: WILLIAM E. WALKER; MRS. FANNIE SUMMA; MRS. MARY A. ASH; MRS. EDNA L. MALSON; LESLIE B. WALKER; all of the Gentry vicinity, and SYLVESTER H. WALKER, of Leon, Iowa. She is also survived by 5 grandsons, l great granddaughter, 3 brothers and 5 sisters, and a host of friends. She united with the Church of God, 5 years ago.
