FRANCIS MARION GARDNER, son of WILSON I. and THESSA C. GARDNER, was born June l5th, l86l, and died at the home of his sister, MRS. H.L. TULLIS, August 28, l922. He was aged 6l years, 2 months and l3 days.

He spent the most of his life in Decatur City, Iowa. After the death of his mother about l2 years ago, he made his home with his sister, MRS. H.L. TULLIS, in Leon.

He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge No. 84, Leon, Iowa. During his life in the community he made many friends. He leaves to mourn his departure, three sisters, MRS. SHELTON, of Decatur City, Iowa; MRS. KALKOFIN, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and MRS. H.L. TULLIS, of Leon, Iowa, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted at the home of his sister, MRS. H.L. TULLIS, in Leon, by Rev. H.L. Olmstead. Interment was at the Decatur Cemetery in charge of the I.O.O.F.
