NANCY J., daughter of JOHN and ORLENA FLORA, was born Feb. l0, l855, in Van Buren County, Iowa, died April 2l, l922, near Davis City, Iowa. She was at the time of her death, aged 67 years, 2 months, l0 days.
She was united in marriage to JOHN MCBROOM. To this union were born two children, both of whom died in infancy. Her last illness came while she was ministering to those who were stricken with disease. She contracted the influenza, which developed into pneumonia and caused her death within a week.

She leaves to mourn her loss two brothers, JOHN C. FLORA, of Orlando, Okla.; and JAKE G. FLORA, of Davis City, besides a number of nephews and nieces and many friends.

The funeral was held from the Saints' Church in Davis City on Sunday, April 23, Wilbur Prall being in charge, sermon by C.E. Wight; interment in the old cemetery at Davis City.
