DOLLIE S. CHAMBERS, daughter of MR. and MRS. ISUM CHAMBERS, was born at Cainsville, Mo., March l8, l855; died April 3, l922, at Pleasanton, Iowa, being 67 years and l6 days of age.

Early in life she was converted and united with the First Baptist Church of Cainsville, to which faith she ever remained faithful. On December 24, l872, she was united in marriage to CHARLES THOMAS HAGAN. To this union, six children were born, five sons and one daughter. Two of the children and husband having preceded her in death. She leaves four sons, twelve grandchildren, two sisters and hosts of friends to mourn her death.

She was always a home-loving mother, a kind and affectionate wife, and her whole life was spent in serving her Master, her home, family, and her neighbors. In her death is lost one whose place on this earth can ne'er be filled; or who can take the place of mother? But in their grief, the loved ones and friends are calm in the assurance of the Heavenly home, which the Savior has prepared for the faithful. The course has been run, the fight has been fought and now she enters into the joys of the Victor who sit around the Throne of God.
