MISS EMMA COLLIER was the daughter of CHAMP and PERMILLA COLLIER; being born in Decatur County, Iowa about l845, and departed this life at her home in Pleasanton on March ll, l922; making her age 77 years. She has spent the greater part of her life in this county.

In her early years, she united with the Christian Church and lived a noble Christian life and although her spirit has departed, her noble traits of character should continue to live in the hearts of her friends and loved ones. She leaves to mourn her departure, two sisters, MRS. ELIZABETH WILLIAMS, of Davis City, Iowa and MRS. SARAH TRUMPH, of Lincoln, Nebraska; other relatives and a host of friends.

Sister COLLIER has spent a greater part of her life in our midst. While to some degree her life has been secluded because of an affliction in her early life which rendered her helpless for some time, she bore her affliction with patience and we hear the whisperings from those who knew her best, of her Godly traits of character, who knew no harm and was kindly disposed to all. We feel truly a sister and friend has been lost.

Funeral services were held at L.D.S. Church on March l2th, conducted by Rev. S.E. Dale. Interment in Hamilton Cemetery.
