EVERETT BRIGHT, son of ALONZO BRIGHT, and MISS MINNIE HAZLET, daughter of MR. and MRS. W.H. HAZLET, of near Leon, were united in marriage last Sunday evening about 6 o'clock at the home of the bride's sister, MRS. ROLLIE CHASTAIN, southeast of Leon. The ceremony was performed by Ben J. Ellston, of Harper, Kansas, an evangelist, who is holding meetings at Eden Chapel. MR. BRIGHT is well known to our people. He is a hustling young man of fine qualities and is popular with a wide circle of friends. The bride is one of Decatur County's most charming young ladies. She counts her friends only by her acquaintances. They will make their home at present at Kirksville, Mo., where MR. BRIGHT is studying osteopathy. The Journal joins the many friends in extending congratulations to this worthy young couple.
