COX-LAUER MARRIAGE

COX, LAUER, CLINE

A pretty home wedding of last week was that
of MISS HELEN MYRNA COX and
MR. GROVER LEE LAUER which took place at six
o'clock Wednesday evening,
June l6th, at the home of the bride's aunt,
MRS. G.C. CLINE, in
southeast Leon. The ceremony was performed
by Rev. Guy J. Fansher,
Pastor of the Methodist Church, the double
ring ceremony being used.
MISS VIRGINIA HARRIS, of Moravia, Iowa, and
MR. FRED LAUER, of Queen
City, Mo., acted as maid of honor and best
man. Other guests from out
of town were: Mrs. George Lauer, of Queen
City, Mo.; Miss Louise Miller,
of Lincoln, Nebraska; Miss Sylvia Crow, of
Eldon, Iowa, and Miss Gazelle
Hall, of Moravia.

The bride is the daughter of MRS. EFFIE COX,
who has resided for some
months in Leon. After a brief honeymoon in
Des Moines, MR. and MRS.
LAUER will make their home in Queen City, Mo.
Their Leon friends wish
them much happiness.
