August 20, l9l4HARRY B. SMITH, of Lynchburg, Va., and MISS
EDITH HARRIS, daughter of
MR. and MRS. JOHN A. HARRIS, of Leon, were
united in marriage at Osceola
Tuesday morning of this week at the Methodist
Church, the ceremony being
performed by the pastor. MR. and MRS.
HARRIS, parents of the bride,
accompanied them to Osceola and were present
at the ceremony.MR. and MRS. SMITH left Osceola at ll:30 for
Chicago, where they
expected to remain for a few days and then go
on to Washington, D.C.
After a few days in Washington, they will go
on to Lynchburg, where they
will be at home at l0l4 Jackson Street.MR. SMITH has visited in Leon at different
times in the past and has
made many friends here. He is a hustling and
successful young business
man and a gentleman of sterling qualities.
He is traveling
representative for the largest shoe
manufactory in the south. MRS.
SMITH is one of Leon's most charming and most
accomplished young
ladies. She is popular with a wide circle of
friends. All extend
