MISS MABEL HORNER, of Davis City, was
nominated for County
Superintendent last Friday at Leon. She is a
model young lady, above
the average intelligence, and we hear it
spoken by those who are
informed upon the matter that,
notwithstanding the large Republican
majority to be overcome, her prospects are
indeed flattering for
election. She has spent all her life in the
school room having taught
lat year in Leon and for some time previous
and this year in Davis
City.
