BIGGS & CUSTER, the new north side merchants,
threw their store doors
open to the public last Thursday morning, and
are already enjoying a
splendid trade. The store will be managed by
MR. GEO. W. CUSTER, who
has had many years experience in the dry
goods business, and is a very
agreeable gentleman, who will be sure to win
many customers by his
courteous manners.

The new firm have a fine large stock of new
goods, selected with great
care, and they are shown to good advantage in
their large new room, one
of the best store rooms in the city. MR.
BIGGS has not had much
experience in business, but will rapidly take
hold and make a success of
his new enterprise. The Firm has ample
capital and promises to be one
of the leading establishments of the city.

SAM E. BOWMAN, one of the most popular clerks
ever in the city of Leon,
has been secured to assist the members of the
firm. Call around and
inspect the new goods and get acquainted with
the new firm. They will
give you a cordial welcome.
